We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our backend team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance our financial products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system stability and performance
- Contribute to the design and architecture of our backend systems to ensure scalability and maintainability
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems
- Strong proficiency in Java 11+ and the Spring Boot framework
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate)
- Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the fintech industry or with financial systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift) is a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
